Our history:
CNO was incorporated in 1979, began operations in 1982, became a public company as Conseco, Inc. in 1985 and re-branded to CNO Financial Group, Inc. in 2010.
Our customers:
Today, we serve more than 4 million middle-income working Americans and retirees. There are more than 50 million potential customer households across America in our target market, and the projected growth of our market is remarkable. The first of the Baby Boom generation will become Medicare-eligible in 2011, and in 10 years, the number of people 65 years old and over will increase by 50 percent. As this group moves toward retirement, we stand ready to serve them with products designed to meet their specific needs.

- Bankers Life and Casualty Company distributes through career Bankers insurance agents.
