1) Applying for a position

- Create a profile and apply online. You will receive an automatic confirmation email after you apply
2) Phone screening /
Preliminary assessment
- A CNO Recruiting professional reviews the qualifications of all applicants seeking consideration for a posted position.
- The CNO Recruiter may call to ask for additional information (e.g., professional experience, technical knowledge, salary expectations, etc.)
3) Interview
- The CNO Recruiter will forward the most appropriately qualified applicants to the Hiring Manager for review.
- The Hiring Manager will select the applicants he/she would like to interview.
- The Recruiter will work with the applicant to set up the interview(s).
4) Selection and offer
- If the candidate is selected for the position, the Recruiter will communicate a formal offer.
- The offer package will include starting salary, benefit information, and additional information.
5) Hire and orientation
- After an “accepted” offer, the Recruiter will work with the candidate to confirm an agreed upon start date.
- Generally, new employees will start on Mondays and will attend a Company orientation session.
Tips
- The applicant's profile and resume will remain active in the CNO applicant tracking system. The CNO Recruiting team regularly searches this system and the applicant may be considered for future searches that closely match their qualifications and interest.
- The employment process may take a week to many months, depending on the open position.
- Candidates that receive a formal offer are subject to a comprehensive background check and successful completion of a drug test.
- Candidates are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early for any onsite interviews.
