Nina Henderson

Nina Henderson joined CNO Financial Group’s Board of Directors in August 2012. She serves as Chair of the Human Resources and Compensation Committee and as a member of the Investment Committee.

Henderson is a former Corporate Vice President of Bestfoods and former President of Bestfoods Grocery. During her 30-year career with Bestfoods, and its predecessor company CPC International, Henderson has held a wide variety of international and North American general management and executive marketing positions.

Henderson was also the Managing Partner of Henderson Advisory, a consulting practice providing marketing perspective and business evaluation to investment management firms on consumer markets.

Currently Henderson serves as a Director of International Workplace Group plc. She also has served as a Director on numerous corporate boards, including Hikma Pharmaceuticals plc, Walter Energy, Inc., Del Monte Foods Company, The Equitable Companies, AXA Financial, Pactiv Corporation, Royal Dutch Shell PLC and its predecessor The Shell Transport and Trading Company, and Hunt Corporation.

Henderson holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Drexel University.

She is Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of Drexel University and a Director of the VNS Health, VNS Health Choice, St. Christopher's Children's Hospital and the Foreign Policy Association. She serves on the RAND Global and Emerging Risks advisory board, is a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra/Ensemble Arts Board of Trustees, serves as Commissioner of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery and is the President of the Kent Land Trust Foundation.
